Roman Empire in 37BC. His wife, Mariamme, was a Jew and a descendant of the Maccabees. So, Herod was fulfilling
the role of Agag/Gog. Agag and Gog are titles of kings/Amalekites who are possessed and/or controlled by the demonic, chief prince, Satan.
